MAGA faithful have been forced to become the living embodiment of George Orwell term, “Doublethink,” in 2025. Doublethink is when one holds two conflicting ideas in their head simultaneously. This is a requirement in totalitarian states that often must switch their messaging to fit new political agendas. What was a lie yesterday is truth today. Like MAGA want mass deportations but they now must accept that H1B1 Visa holders are OK because they will work for Musk, and it’s ok to fast track white immigrants from South Africa. They want an end to the Ukraine war but Trump is telling them he tried his best with diplomacy but Putin is too difficult so they should just give up and accept that Biden’s Ukraine policy is now Trumps. Or that MAGA is about an America First agenda, however the social safety net that would protect the American working class is being stripped away to give more power to the oligarchy. And the “oligarchy” are the same tech companies we’ve been calling the “liberal elites” for the past decade. The Republican version of liberal elites are now called “tech bros.” Worst of all American foreign policy has a well pronounced Israel First agenda. MAGA rejected George Bush’s warmongering and wanted a president who didn’t start forever wars. This has been a pillar of Tucker Carlson’s messaging. But Trump bombed Iran under the same false WMD claims that Bush attacked Iraq under.
