MEME TEMPLATE TO USE WHEN YOU HAVE A REALLY WEIRD TAKE

Any funny or interesting thought that you have ever had can be turned into a meme. Some observation that made your friends laugh years ago can make thousands of strangers laugh today if you find the right meme template and the best place to post it.

If you’re like me, you have had some weird takes and if you posted those weird takes as a Facebook status or a tweet you would get an indifferent or hostile response. So here’s a way you can do it that gets lots of love and lets people off the hook for liking that bizarre thing you said.

This meme uses established characters from the beloved TV show Community. We have Chevy Chase’s character Pierce Hawthorne who has been established as a weirdo and deviant. Then we have the character Britta Perry, portrayed by Gilian Jacobs. Britta is a “normie,” a nice girl to a fault who doesn’t even comprehend why people would be into that weird stuff.

So just insert your unusual take into Pierce’s mouth, and when she says “yikes” the meme consumer, who is the normie, can identify with her and laugh at that weird thing you wrote without actually agreeing with it.

Then just find the right place to post it. I recommend finding a sub on Reddit that focuses on whatever subject you have a take on, being it movies, pets, art, or politics (be sure you know if your audience is right or left if it’s politics) or whatever. Reddit is the best site for memes because you can focus on any niche subject.
